CHAIRPERSON'S PROFILE
Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, a former grade 22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, took oath as Chairperson of Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) on 13th June 2026. He did his two-year Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, USA, and also holds a Master in Social Sciences; Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) and a Bachelor of Science. He possesses over thirty-seven years of vast professional experience in the fields of public administration, finance, public procurement, commerce, maritime and human resource management, etc.
In Government of Pakistan, he has served on important roles including as Federal Secretary for Maritime Affairs, Chairman & CEO of Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), Chairman & CEO of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), Additional Secretary Establishment Division, Additional Secretary Cabinet Division and Managing Director of Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (PSPC).
He has also served in Government of Sindh as provincial Health Secretary, Secretary General Administration, Secretary to Governor Sindh, Additional Home Secretary and Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad.
In Government of the Punjab, he has served on various field positions including as Assistant Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan & Bahawalnagar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rahim Yar Khan, and Director Local Government Bahawalpur Division.
